Summer Fun Begins!

The days in Georgia have been rainy, but we lucked out on our trip to Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta. The weather was cloudy, but perfect for a day at the park. I am so glad summer is here and we can start enjoying the outdoors. The kids had a blast and I can't wait to go back and visit the park again.

Circus and Carnival

Last minute we decided to go to the shrine circus with Kyli, her sister and cousin, and Kalin. Ben was is school all night, so I thought we should get out of the house and do something fun. The best part was that the circus was free with a coke can! The kids had a great time watching the circus acts, but I have to say they had more fun when we decided to go try some rides at the carnival next door. Kyli and I were a little nervous about Kalin and Jonas riding by themselves, but they actually had a blast. They were all smiles and it was so cute to see!

Preschool Pics

We are almost done this year with our preschool group and believe it or not, we will make it through the whole alphabet. Last week school was at my house and we did the letter "W". We talked about the weather, wind, worms, the world and water. The highlight though was at the end of school. We found a snake in our yard. I ran screaming when I saw it, but Kate trapped it and picked it up. Apparently it is a non-biting snake and the kids that were still left at my house thought it was pretty cool to touch. I stayed clear though!

Our treat, dirt cake with gummy worms (it was yummy!)

The Verdict...

is in. We are having a baby GIRL! I knew it all along. Our little Adrienne is precious already and we got some sweet pictures of her. We even saw her sucking her thumb. Let's hope that habit is broken after birth!

Virginia

We got back from Virginia about a week ago. Mom, Dad, Danny, Lisa, me and Jonas (we missed having Steven there) went to visit Jared, Leni and new baby Cole. We were able to be there for Cole's blessing which was very special. It was a great, relaxing trip with nothing planned, just hanging out. Jonas still asks to go to Jared and Leni's house.

Jonas's first plane ride. Here I think we were taking off and he has that "not so sure about this" look on his face. He did great though!
